Water! the life source of everything! So refreshing! So perfect on a hot day! and by far one of the most disliked drinking options we have...which we take for granted.
Somethings we just take for granted.  Never really appreciate, never really understand, never really think will go away, it will always be there for us, so we never really give it a second thought.

 WHY??  Because it is always there.

 It is crucial to our whole existence and yet we don’t really know it at all. We shrug the shoulders,

So here are a few facts and benefits that may surprise you, give a better understanding and a new appreciation for water.


Interesting facts about the water we drink


  • There is the same amount of water on Earth as there was when the Earth was formed.

  • The water we drink today is the same water that the dinosaurs drank.

  • Water is composed of two elements, Hydrogen and Oxygen.
    2 Hydrogen + 1 Oxygen = H2O.

  • Water regulates the Earth’s temperature.

  • Water covers around 70% of the Earth’s surface.

  • The freezing point of water lowers as the amount of salt dissolved in it increases. Depending on salt levels, seawater generally freezes at -2 °C (28.4 °F).

  • Water expands by 9% when it freezes. Frozen water (ice) is lighter than water, that is why ice floats on water.

  • The human body is totally dependent for its survival on water. A person can live for about a month without food, but will only survive about 1 week without adequate water.

  • 75% of the human brain is water.

  • It also regulates the temperature of the human body.

  • Water carries all nutrients and oxygen in the body, and is essential for proper circulation.

  • Water cushions joints, protects organs and tissue, and leads to overall wellness of the body by removing wastes and bacteria that can lead to disease.

  • By the time a person feels thirsty, his or her body has lost over 1 percent of its total water amount.

  • He risk of developing certain types of cancers is greatly reduced by drinking  adequate amounts of water.

  • Drinking water can significantly reduce joint and back pain.

  • Water can prevent and alleviate headaches.

  • By drinking water the  body maintains a healthy weight by increasing metabolism and regulating appetite.

  • A lack of energy during the day is actually mild dehydration. Drinking water increases energy levels.

  • To  ensure your skin has  a healthy, glowing appearance drink water.
